El mundo de la música, cine y televisión, moda, comedia e internet vivieron la noche más divertida de la industria. Las playas de California, Estados Unidos, fueron testigo de una nueva edición de los Teen Choice Awards 2019. Se trata del evento en el que la última palabra la tienen los fans, que emitieron más de 55 millones de votos en apoyo de sus íconos adolescentes favoritos.
En la categoría serie dramática, “Riverdale”, producción que se puede ver por la pantalla de Warner Channel fue la gran ganadora. La adaptación que encarnó con éxito a la historieta Archie fue elegida como la mejor en su rubro y, además, sus actores fueron reconocidos con los galardones de diversas ternas: Cole Prouse y Lili Reinhardt fueron destacados como mejor actor y actriz dramático/a de TV respectivamente. Además, ambos fueron premiados como la pareja con mayor química de este año. El estreno de la cuarta temporada de la aclamada serie está previsto para Octubre 2019.
Otras producciones de Warner Channel también fueron reconocidas durante la ceremonia. En la categoría mejor actor de ciencia ficción, Jared Padalecki fue premiado por su papel en “Supernatural”. Por otro lado, Stephen Amell alzó su galardón como mejor actor de acción por “Arrow”, mientras que Cameron Monaghan se llevó el premio al mejor villano por “Gotham”. En la categoría de mejor comedia se coronó “The Big Bang Theory” y con un guiño vintage, “Friends” fue elegida la mejor serie de nostalgia.
El evento repleto de estrellas contó con actuaciones de OneRepublic; Blanco brown; Mabel Monsta X; CNCO; Jordan McGraw, con la invitada especial Sarah Hyland; Johnny Orlando; Jacob Sartorius; Zhavia y Hayden Summerall. La conducción estuvo a cargo de la actriz Lucy Hale y del youtuber David Dobrik.
Los Teen Choice Awards 2019, que entregan premios a través del voto del público joven dejaron al descubierto el fanatismo por los talentos de Warner Channel.
