El 12 de agosto, a partir de las 19hs. COL/MEX // 20hs. VEN // 21hs. ARG/CHI, Warner Channel transmitirá en vivo y en exclusiva, los Teen Choice Awards 2018, los premios que a través del voto del público jóven distinguen a los favoritos de la TV, el cine, la música, la web y los momentos más candentes del verano boreal.
Las dos olas de nominaciones dejaron al descubierto el fanatismo del público por los talentos de Warner Channel. A continuación, un repaso por los reconocimiento recibidos en la terna TV. ¿Quién surfeará la ola este 2018?
En la categoría serie dramática, “Riverdale” espera ser elegida tanto como la mejor en su rubro como por sus actores nominados: Cole Prouse (Riverdale), K.J. Apa (Riverdale), Lili Reinhardt (Riverdale) y Camila Mendes (Riverdale). Como mejor serie de ciencia ficción, “Supernatural” y “The 100” compiten como las mejores del año, mientras que en las categorías de actuación en ciencia ficción se destacan las nominaciones de Bob Morley (The 100) y Eliza Taylor (The 100).
En el rubro Acción en la TV, las producciones de Warner Channel arrasan en las preferencias del público con las nominaciones de “Arrow”, “Gotham”, “Lethal Weapon”, “Supergirl” y “The Flash”. Los talentos que esperan levantar su premio en la ceremonia son: Chris Wood (Supergirl), Damon Wayans (Lethal Weapon), David Mazouz (Gotham), Grant Gustin (The Flash), Stephen Amell (Arrow); Caity Lotz (DC’s Legends of Tomorrow), Candice Patton (The Flash), Danielle Panabaker (The Flash), Emily Bett Rickards (Arrow), Melissa Benoist (Supergirl).
En las categorías de comedia, uno de los rubros más reñidos de la ceremonia, se destaca la nominación de “The Big Bang Theory” como mejor comedia en TV y la de America Ferrara por su papel en “Superstore”, como mejor actriz cómica en TV. También con un guiño vintage, “Friends” y “Gossip Girl” fueron elegidas en el segmento de mejor serie de nostalgia.
Los villanos de la televisión también tienen un lugar en estos premios. Cameron Monaghan (el Guasón en Gotham), Mark Consuelos (Hiram Lodge en Riverdale) y Odette Annable (Reign en Supergirl) compiten por demostrar quien es el más malo.
En el segmento Estrellas Revelación de TV hacen su primera aparición Ian Armitage (Sheldon en Young Sheldon) y Vanessa Morgan (Toni en Riverdale).
También serán premiadas aquellas parejas de gran química que encantaron a la audiencia en este 2018, como Grant Gustin y Candice Patton por The Flash, Lili Reinhart y Cole Sprouse, por Riverdale, K.J. Apa y Camila Mendes por Riverdale y Stephen Amell con Emily Bett Rickards, por Arrow.
